RF Design Engineer

Trex Hawaii, LLC, a subsidiary of Trex Enterprises Corporation, is experiencing rapid growth in its radar and wireless communications sectors.  We seek an RF Design Engineer for our Maui office to augment our growing team.

The ideal candidate will serve as an RF Design Engineer for our Electromagnetic Environmental System Simulator RADAR program.  The ideal candidate will add to the innovative and forward-thinking mentality of the RF, microwave and millimeter-wave group.  The successful applicant will be enlisted to assist in the design, development, integration, test, and deployment of a RADAR target and clutter simulator.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

• A demonstrated ability to design and develop RF systems and hardware in multiple bands such as amplifiers, mixers, combiners/splitters, and filters
• A demonstrated knowledge of industry standard EDA tools such as AWR and MATLAB.
• BSEE (MSEE Preferred) with 4+ years’ of related experience
• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel while managing constantly changing deadlines and priorities
• Knowledge of modulation techniques and signal processing.
• Demonstrates initiative / Self starter
• Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance
• Must possess excellent technical writing, presentation and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• United States citizenship is required
